I will show you how to fix computer problem when you can't boot to Windows screen.

But first let look at no power problem.

To make sure that the problem really come from the power supply and not from the power button of the pc case, We could use a power supply tester to verify that all the good voltage are present and that the power supply can take the load

This little unit will tell you if your missing a voltage and witch one, is the power supply is dead then you have to replace it.

Here are CD and DVD how to repair your PC, change your power supply or do any kind of PC repair, they are great video and i highly recommended it.

Otherwise is you can't change your power supply yourself and do not wants to buy these video then you will have to bring it in a computer shop to have it repair.

Fix a Bsod screen

Now let look at good working power supply but still can't boot to Windows screen

There are many ways that you can do to fix that problem.

1 = Did you try to reboot and see if you still get the Bsod (blue screen of dead)

2 = Try to boot into Safe mode using F8 key.
Once your on Safe mode screen then you should go to Msconfig and disable newly install services or start up program.

If you just install a new software or driver, then go to Star - settings - Control Panel - Add or Remove programs and uninstall it from the list.

Once done try to Reboot in normal mode to see if the errors (Bsod) is gone.

3 = If you still get Bsod then you can boot whit a windows xp boot disk, and chose new install and when ask press F8 to accept License and then choose R to repair the install Windows. Very important to choose repair otherwise it will install a new copy of Windows and you gonna loose everything on you computer.Note: You will need you key number (License COA)in the process, so make sure you have it.

4 = If all of the above did do it, then you will need to restore your computer to a previous state using a CD like UBCD4Win or Download Bart's PE Builder 3.1.10a from my download site right Now, also available is Winterm linux bootable CD, you can find these on the net, but you will need to know how to create a CD from a ISO file.
